As we expected, Google released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Nexus line of devices as soon as the company’s latest flagship, Nexus 6, began shipping to consumers. Nexus devices that just received the Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images are:
- Nexus 5
- Nexus 10
- Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi)
- Nexus 7 2012 (WiFi)
The Nexus 4, unfortunately, has been put on hold for today’s rollout. Or maybe, Google will release the Android 5.0 Lollipop for Nexus 4 later today. A lot of people using all these 4 Nexus devices will be downloading the Android 5.0 factory images and OTA updates today, so maybe to balance off the load on Google’s servers, Nexus 4 and 3G variants of Nexus 7 tablets will receive the update later today or earlier tomorrow.
